Peter front row second from the right between Mike Cheslyn and John Taylor

We are saddened to learn of the recent death of Peter Morgan. Peter is fondly remembered by club members and by those who played with him and especially as a member of the successful 1980 Haig National Knock-Out team.

Peter was particularly proud of the part which he played in that success and of the general success of the club during his playing days.

Latterly, he had retired to the south-coast where he remained active playing golf, the occasional game of bridge and tending to his allotment up until he became too ill.

We extend our condolences to his family for their loss.
